Summary Statement:
Under the direction of the Director, Pro Audio Sales, Greater China and South Korea, the Manager, Pro Audio Sales is responsible to increase the sales of Shure product line within China market through direct interaction with dealers and distributors. The incumbent should help to further develop the China distribution structure and formulate the channel strategies

 

Representative Duties:
• Achieve the annual sales quotas as an appropriate share of the annual sales budget in each product line
• Monitor territory profit margins and plan accordingly to meet or exceed division objectives
• Develop a detailed knowledge of key account and maintain personal contact with key wholesales/dealers in assigned territories
• Participate in Business Unit activities, including but not limited to sales meetings, promotional and product planning
• Develop and manage all sales activities/trips for key tradeshows and promotional events
• Plan an monitor expense budgets in accordance with the fiscal year objectives
• Monitor competitive activities, introduce new competitive products, change in sales patterns/policies of competitors and develop actions to meet competitive activities when required
• Perform other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business or other relevant disciplines
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in sound reinforcement, musical instrument, installation and/or pro audio industry with at least 2 years of management responsibility
• Have working knowledge of customer landscape in assigned territories including major vertical markets
• Demonstrate the ability to change thinking of, or gain acceptance from others without damaging the relationship
• Able to establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and business activities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese with good communication in all levels and organizational skills
• Good leadership and interpersonal skills and able to work both as part of a team and independently
• About 50% of travel annually
